Opening Soon:Knowledge Centres; Bell and Cisco Join Forces!

In case you haven’t heard by now, Bell and Cisco are collaborating in an attempt to build Internet Protocol-based services for businesses in the form of “knowledge centres” in Toronto and Montreal. The knowledge centres will focus predominately on products that can benefit from the shift to online operations which includes voice, wireless, IP and security applications. 

The President of Bell’s enterprise group, Stephane Boisvert, was quoted in saying: “Businesses are looking to drive the most effective return on investment from their IP network investments and Bell’s suite of managed and outsourced services can help optimize ICT capital investment while reducing risk and capital cost.”

Also, it’s worth noting that the centres will employ the latest technology to fuel innovation while uncovering new solutions and implementing applied training programs along the way.  They will also be used to boost recruitment with internships for university and college students.     

The knowledge centres are slated to open in 2nd and 3rd Quarter 2008 so stay tuned!
